Music is one of the best ways to inspire young minds and we use this opportunity to bring students on an introduction to contemporary a cappella, to experiencing and learn the importance of Mother Tongue as well as celebrate Singapore’s birthday and history with MICappella’s National Day repertoire.
MICappella has performed live at numerous schools in and out of Singapore and has sought fresh ways to continue bringing a cappella music to schools during the pandemic.
The band’s carefully curated digital ‘Vocal Explosion’ assembly show programme is NAC-AEP approved and contains exciting bite-sized content that enriches and educates students regardless of whether they are in the classroom or learning from their homes.

Being effectively bilingual, along with their cultural background as Singaporeans, they are able to bridge cultures by using themes such as East Meets West for international festivals and multiple solo ticketed concerts in USA, Germany, Malaysia, China, Hongkong and Taiwan.
As a band that truly enjoys performing live, they are able to stand out alongside full bands at pop and rock music festivals, a testament to their stage charisma and prowess
Since the pandemic, they have also gone digital by putting together exclusive, concert worthy material for ticketed digital festivals such as the Los Angeles A Cappella Festival in 2021.
